Siapalah kita nak dibandingkan dengan mamat ni

Tiap kali aku tengok clip video ni aku rasa malu gila. Aku malu sebab kadang-kadang aku jeles bila tengok apa yang orang lain ada tapi aku tak ada. Bukan aku tak bersyukur. Tapi biasalah manusia ni. Suka tengok kelebihan orang lain. Kalau dari segi ibadat memang kita kena tengok orang lain lebih dari kita. Baru datang sikap nak berlumba-lumba masuk syurga tu. Tapi kalau jeles dengan kelebihan material dan keduniaan. Akan aku cuba kurang-kurangkan.

Nama mamat ni Nick Vujicic. Dilahirkan tanpa tangan dan kaki. Antara kata-kata hikmat dia adalah "It matters how you're gonna finish. Are you gonna finish strong?"

Nick's biography

First-born child into his devout Serbian Christian family, Nick Vujicic was born in Melbourne, limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. Initially, his parents were devastated. However, Nick turned out to be otherwise perfectly healthy.
Nick graduated from college at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial Planning mengalahkan orang biasa yang nak habiskan satu major pun semput..huhu... He began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on the topics that today's teenagers face. He also speaks in the corporate sector, although his aim is to become an international inspirational speaker, in both Christian and non-Christian venues. He regularly travels internationally to speak to Christian congregations, schools, and corporate meetings. He has spoken on four continents (Africa, Asia, Australia, and North America), in over twelve countries, and to over two million people face-to-face.


By the age of 25, Nick hopes to become financially independent kita yang cukup tangan kaki ni umur 25, jangan kata financially independent. Ada lagi yang duk perabih beras mak bapak lagi. He wishes to promote his words through shows like The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as by writing books. His first book, planned for completion by the end of 2009, is to be called No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!


A DVD, Life's Greater Purpose, is available on the Life Without Limbs website. Most of the DVD was filmed in 2005, featuring a brief documentary about his home life, and how he does regular things without limbs. The second part of the DVD was filmed at his local church in Brisbane, and was one of his first professional motivational speeches.


His secular DVD "No Arms, No Legs, No Worries" is available online through his corporate motivational speaking company "Attitude Is Altitude."


Nick's first worldwide television interview, featured on 20/20 (ABC) with Bob Cummings was aired on March 28, 2008.

"There is time in life when you fall down, you feel you don't have the strength to get back up. Do you think you have hope? I'm telling you that I am down here, facing down, and I have no arms and no legs. It should be impossible for me to get back up. But it's not. You see I'll try one hundred time to get up. Siapalah kita kalau nak dibandingkan dengan ujian yang Allah bagi pada mamat ni. Apa lah sangat takat ujian tak cukup duit, tak cukup makan. Duit boleh cari. Ada duit boleh beli makanan. Tapi kalau takde tangan kaki? Air ada depan muka nak sua kat mulut sendiri pun ntah macam mana. Semoga kita menjadi hamba yang lebih bersyukur. Lebih berusaha. Lebih bermatlamat.

Orang takde tangan kaki pun matlamat nak financially independent by umur 25. Aku nak masuk three series pun masih duk harap keja makan gaji. Bukan aku kata hina sangat keja makan gaji. Tapi renung-renungkan lah. Kita tak tau apa nak jadi pada diri kita suatu hari nanti. Siapa tahu hari ni kita ada tangan kaki, esok lusa Allah ambik balik tangan kaki kita? Adakah kita akan jadi sekuat mamat ni? Setabah hamba Allah yang namanya Nick Vujicic.  Adakah kita akan jadi manusia yang kufur menyalahkan takdir? Dunia tak adil? Sementara diberi peluang. Usahalah bersungguh-sungguh. Di samping, jangan lupa jadi manusia yang bersyukur.
